July 28 – Grand Cayman

After breakfast, Gavin and Rowan joined Allan and me to visit the caves in Grand Cayman. They were quite beautiful and the configurations of the stalactites and stalagmites were very interesting. We had lunch at the caves and then made our way back to the ship. We took showers upon returning since the caves were very hot inside which is unusual for caves since usually they are damp and cold.

Scott and Erin and the girls went to the beach for awhile and walked around town a little. Apparently, Grand Cayman had a minor earthquake today and the view in the submarine ride that Jamie, Tracy, and Matty embarked on during the day, was made a bit muddy by the quake.

Tonight is Pirate night so the girls and Matty had their pirate costumes on. Dinner was very nice, but Gavin wasn’t feeling great so we went to the medical area and the Dr gave him some Zofran for nausea. Dr feels he has some sea sickness going on since the waters were a bit choppy.

Gavin and I have plans tomorrow to go zip lining in Jamaica, something WAAAY out of my comfort range, but I’m willing to give it a first time try.

I have lots of photos that I haven’t been able to post because the internet is spotty so when I get home and post the last day, I’ll include all the photos.
