Today we went off the ship to lounge on the beach at Disney Cay, Disney’s island. The chairs were plentiful as were the umbrellas so we all were able to find shade.

The kids went into the water, but Gavin still wasn’t feeling that great, so he and Rowan and grandpa went back to the ship. It was a beautiful day but the humidity was high, so after Matty had fun splashing in the kids area, Tracy and Jamie and I walked back to the ship for lunch as well. Scott and family stayed at the beach until 2 and enjoyed the lunch at the beach provided by Disney.

Allan and I found a place to read and the boys stayed in the cabin and watched a movie till dinner.

We bid goodbye and thanks to our wait staff at dinner and then it was back to the cabin to pack. Afterwards, we met up with Scott and Erin and the girls and had an “end of the cruise” drink and then it was off to bed.

Tomorrow we board our plane for the journey home. Please check in tomorrow because once I get to Massachusetts, I’ll post some of the pictures of the cruise. I think everyone had a great time and Allan and I enjoyed watching everyone having fun. It made the cruise a special one for us indeed.
