July 30 – Sea Day

We slept in since it’s a sea day and then had some breakfast. The kids had fun in the pool and before we knew it, we were having lunch. The food has been very good with a lot to choose from to satisfy everyone’s palates .

At 1:15, we started lining up for the Moana extravaganza. The line was already very long for the 2 pm show so we just had to wait. We could not save seats so all 12 of us had to be present to be admitted. It worked out and we all were able to sit in the lower section where the action was.

The show was spectacular with lots of amazing effects and the singing was incredible. It definitely was a Broadway production!

Each night we eat in one of three restaurants and we always have the same table number as well as the same wait staff. It’s very nice because the waiters know exactly what we like and are happy to provide it for us. One restaurant is the Marvel character theme with Spider-Man making an appearance. Another restaurant is Coco’s from the movie Coco and it has a Spanish theme. The third restaurant is 1923 and is done in the 1920’s decor. Many of the diners dressed up in 1920’s garb and it was nice to see their outfits.

Some of the kids went into the pool and at the same time, watched one of the movies that are shown on the jumbo screen overlooking the pool. That was fun for everyone.

It was a lovely sea day and I think everyone had a great time.
